JONATHAN G GALVEZ (Commentator) is an actor, playwright, director,
and certified teacher who last appeared onstage in Theatrical Gems'
presentation of Mr. President.
As a writer, he has been produced in the 2009 New York International
Fringe Festival (Thirty Minutes or
Less), Manhattan Repertory Theatre’s Amazing Play Festival (Crossing Lights), and has had his
one-acts premiere in The Shortened Attention Span festivals, Sundog
Theatre’s Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry, and the Strawberry
One-Act Festival. He is a performer, writer, and technical
director for Stuff Films Comedy troupe and is a member of the
Dramatists Guild. He received his B.A. in Theatre Education from
Wagner College and is a M.F.A. Candidate in Playwrighting at Hollins
University. |
MICHAEL PUGLIA (Romantic) resides in Northvale, New Jersey, and is a proud graduate
of Wagner College. He is a recipient of a Paper Mill Playhouse
Rising Star award. He has been invited four times to perform
holiday standards for touring guests of the White House holiday season.
Michael has recently performed with the College Light Opera Company in
Falmouth, Cape Cod. Favorite roles at CLOC include the Doctor in The Most Happy Fella, Heathersett
in Me and My Girl, The
Captain in Titanic, Omar
Kayam in Kismet, and Henry
Higgins in My Fair Lady.

MICHAL SALONIA* (Sports Fan). Graduate of Circle in the Square
Theatre School. New York credits include Mr. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol, Ben Weeks in The Normal Heart, and Quince in Midsummer Night's Dream. Favorite
regional roles include Moonface in Anything
Goes, Nathan in Guys and Dolls,
Ali Hakim in Oklahoma!, and
Marryin' Sam in L'il Abner as
well as most of the "patter" roles in the G & S canon. He is an
active teaching artist and proud member of Young Educators in the Arts.

JACOB
SHOESMITH-FOX (Geek), Artistic Director of Theatrical Gems, has
directed full productions of Little
Shop of Horrors and How to
Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as well as various
readings and workshops and was the Assistant Director of Are We Writing Loud Enough for the
Vineyard Theatre. He worked as an actor for most of his childhood
at the Pocono Playhouse and other locations in his hometown and also
appeared in NYC in The Car in
the 2007 Short Attention Span Horror Festival and the film Wet Hot American Summer. In
2006 he began producing with The
Vagina Monologues on Staten Island, which he continued for the
following three years, making him the only male V-Day producer in the
region. Jacob graduated from Wagner College in 2009 with a B.S.
in Arts Administration and spent 5 months interning in development and
education at the Vineyard Theatre. Thanks to Mom for always being
there and EN for getting me into theatre. In memory of Dad, Gram

TAYLOR (Musical Director/Piano). Previous musical directing
credits include Theatrical Gems' Mr.
President, two student written Broadway revues at
Wagner
College, Godspell, The
Rocky Horror Show, School
House Rock Live, and Dreamgirls.
He is currently working at Our Lady
Queen of Peace in Maywood, NJ
as their Musical Director.
